SOTA: New Chronicles of Riddick Pictures

Following on from our Sneak Preview SOTA send us further pictures to show how desireable the Chronicles of Riddick figures are...

You know SOTA are making my life hell right now. I'm having a hard time winning auctions on Ebay for the old Resaurus Streetfighter stuff which I need to get before SOTAs Streetfighter hits and raises the prices , plus they let Nomad play with prototypes of Riddick, which we then have to give away. And now, even more photos of how good these figures are. If you think I sound like a SOTA shill, well in all honest it's only because I'm really enjoying their products so much. As always with this site, the stuff we rave about is because we genuinely like it, not because of any underhand deal or anything.

Chronicles of Riddick is the sequel to the popular Vin Diesel Sci-Fi Movie: Pitch Black. This film finds Riddick caught in the middle of an invasion by the planet conquering despot, Lord Marshal.

SOTA will be releasing a number of figures to co-incide with the movie:

Riddick

Lord Marshal

Kyra

Vaako

Necrolensor

Each figure will be 7" tall and retail for around $13 each

They'll also be a Deluxe Set of Riddick in Battle Gear outfit and the "Hellhound" figure. Price will be about $20

These are all due to be released on the day of the Movie's release: June 11th

Ok, I'll be the first one to say in this post that these figures are f&$@ing awesome. I love the articulation on the characters.

Nice, very Nice, I wasn't that interested in getting these figures. I was planning to get Riddick only, but now, uhmmmmm, I will get all, maybe but just maybe, I won't get the chick.

I've already pre-ordered them from CornerStoreComics.com, but the Riddick figure, his head looks different, but i cant wait, and the hell hound looks sooooo awesome, im gonna be forced to buy it!!! The Kyra looks good too!

I was just gonna get the Lord Marshal and Vaako and pass on Riddick. But Hellhound! How can I miss that? Looks like I'll be getting a Riddick after all (even though I don't like the character).

Is that a couple of Hellhounds beside each other or does it have multiple heads and tails? I can't see it clearly.

Is the Necrolensor going to be like the stormtroopers of this movie or is it just one guy?

Might pick up a couple if they are for armies.

I think these figures look incredible....BUT what is the deal with the regular NECROMONGER Trooper figures??? I thought they weren't being made? Now it looks as though they are? Clearly it's not Vaako or Lord Marhsal. Anyone have any info as to whether or not there will be "regular" Necromonger figures?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot....thanks SOTA for making Kyra able to hold BOTH of her guns....in the prototype pictures I was worried....looks as though in the movie she kicks ass w/both pistols...now we can recreate that!
